TERMS OF PURCHASE FOR THE LEGALZINE

Thank you for your interest in The Legalzine by The Boutique Lawyer (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”). Please carefully review these Terms of Purchase. By subscribing to The Legalzine (our “Product”), you agree to these Terms and confirm you’ve had an opportunity to review them before making your purchase. These Terms are binding as of the date you purchase or subscribe.

1. General Purpose
These Terms govern the sale and subscription of The Legalzine, a digital magazine. By subscribing through our website and/or any associated subdomains (the “Website”), you, the subscriber (“Purchaser,” “you,” “your”), agree to be bound by these Terms.

By clicking "Subscribe," "Purchase," or similar, and submitting your payment, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms, and any other policies referred to herein, including our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated by reference. Collectively, we and you will be referred to as “Parties.”

2. Product Scope
The Legalzine subscription provides you with access to our digital magazine on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. The subscription may include additional features such as exclusive articles, interviews, and legal resources, as specified on the Website.

3. Product Delivery
Upon successful payment, you will receive access to each edition of The Legalzine via email. Delivery is digital only and method of delivery is subject to change. Please refer to your purchase receipt or account settings for exact delivery details.

If subscribing during a presale or pre-order period, your access will commence once the first edition is published, as detailed on the Website.

4. No Warranties + No Guarantees
The Legalzine is provided on an "As-Is" basis for your personal use. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy or results derived from the content. The information provided is intended for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, or other professional advice. We make no warranty, express or implied, regarding the fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or accuracy of any content.

5. Payment + Billing
By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the subscription fees (the “Fees”) on a recurring basis according to the subscription period you selected (e.g., monthly, quarterly, annually). All fees are in USD. You must keep a valid payment method on file.

If you take advantage of any trial offers and do not cancel before the end of the trial period, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the full subscription term.

6. Automatic Subscription Renewal
Your subscription to The Legalzine will automatically renew at the end of each subscription period (monthly, quarterly, annually), unless you cancel before the renewal date. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file for renewal Fees without further notice to you. It is your responsibility to monitor your subscription renewal dates and manage cancellations through your account. Failure to cancel before the next billing cycle will result in automatic charges, and no refunds will be issued for failure to cancel.

7. Subscription Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account and following the cancellation instructions or contacting customer support. Cancellations must be made before the next billing cycle to avoid charges for the upcoming period. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the magazine for the remainder of your paid subscription term but will not receive any further issues beyond that period. No refunds will be provided for early cancellation.

8. Refund Policy
Due to the nature of digital content, we do not offer refunds once a subscription has been activated or an issue has been delivered. Please ensure that The Legalzine meets your needs before purchasing.

9. Chargebacks
By initiating a chargeback with your payment provider, you agree to repay the full cost of your subscription, including any fees or expenses incurred by us as a result of the chargeback. We reserve the right to present this Agreement to your payment provider and dispute the chargeback. If the chargeback is successful, we reserve the right to terminate your subscription and refuse future service. Further, you will be liable for any collection fees, attorney fees, and costs associated with recovering any amounts due to us.

10. Promotions + Discounts
Occasionally, we may offer promotional pricing or discounts. These are valid only during the stated promotion period and cannot be retroactively applied to past purchases or subscriptions. We reserve the right to modify or cancel promotions at any time without prior notice.

11. License for Use
By subscribing to The Legalzine, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal-use license to access the magazine. Sharing, copying, distributing, or reselling the content of The Legalzine without permission is strictly prohibited.

12. Limited License and Restrictions
Your subscription grants you a limited, personal-use license to access and read The Legalzine. You are strictly prohibited from sharing, reproducing, distributing, or creating derivative works based on any content from The Legalzine without our express written permission. This includes, but is not limited to, distributing issues to others, republishing our content online or in any form, or using our materials for commercial purposes. Unauthorized use of our content will result in immediate termination of your subscription and may lead to legal action.

13. Intellectual Property
All content within The Legalzine is owned by the Company and is protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription does not grant you ownership of any content, only a limited license to access and use the content for personal purposes.

14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company, its officers, employees, or affiliates, will not be liable to you or any third party for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of The Legalzine or your subscription, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or business interruptions, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim related to your subscription will not exceed the amount you paid for the most recent subscription period.
This Limitation of Liability does not limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

15. Refunds for Billing Errors
If you believe there has been a billing error, you must notify us in writing within 30 days of the charge date to request a refund. We will review the claim and, if applicable, refund any incorrect charges. Refunds will only be issued for legitimate billing errors and not for dissatisfaction with content or failure to cancel your subscription on time. Refund requests submitted after 30 days from the charge date will not be considered.

16. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or related to your subscription to The Legalzine will be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, rather than in court, except for matters that may be taken to small claims court. Arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis in Forsyth County, Georgia. You and the Company agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit. Each party will bear its own costs related to the arbitration unless otherwise awarded by the arbitrator.

17. Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any failure to perform or delays in performance of our obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, cyber-attacks, or internet outages. In such cases, we reserve the right to suspend the delivery of the magazine until the situation is resolved without penalty.

18. Age Limitations
By subscribing to The Legalzine, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or the legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into a binding contract. If we discover that you do not meet the age requirement, we reserve the right to terminate your subscription immediately without refund.

19. Changing Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Website. Your continued use of the subscription following any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.

20. Severability + No Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Failure by the Company to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision unless acknowledged in writing. Waiver of one provision does not waive any subsequent rights or provisions.

21. Entire Agreement
These Terms represent the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding your purchase and subscription to The Legalzine. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you.
